Sa Scena – Inside the sound of Bookolica

Sa Scena — Inside the sound of Bookolica grows out of the editorial partnership with the magazine Sa Scena and opens a space for telling the story of music as one of the threads running through the festival’s curation. FORELOCK brings to the conversation an artistic path that spans live shows, electronic production and sound experimentation; Luca Vargiu tells how Bookolica’s music strand was built, through BOOKOLICA FREQUENCIES, night programming, Ableton masterclasses, training and research into new sound languages. The discussion is led by Gabriele Mureddu and Raffaele Angius for Sa Scena. The conversation links artists, live shows, electronics, sound and interactive installations, the collaboration with the Luigi Canepa Conservatory, training and listening practices, giving the overall picture of how Bookolica brings music into its artistic research.
