MERCATO DELL’ARTE

The Mercato dell’Arte grows out of the collaboration between Bookolica, Confartigianato Gallura, Spazio Faber and the Municipality of Tempio Pausania, and brings crafts, art and design into the festival as living ways of telling the story of the area. The objects on display are a starting point for meeting the people who make them and exploring materials, techniques, creative processes and life stories. Spazio Faber becomes a place of exchange between visitors and makers, while the collaboration with Confartigianato Gallura and the Municipality of Tempio Pausania strengthens the bond between the festival, the local economy and the community. The market creates a direct link between culture and craftsmanship, showing how design, handwork and the identity of places can engage with contemporary languages.
