REFLECTION MIRROR

Specchio Riflesso (Reflection Mirror) is an artistic workshop of photographic self-representation and poster art/street art, in which each participant will create his or her own self-portrait, which, once printed, will be posted together with the others on the streets of Scano di Montiferro.

The workshop revolves, in a game of mirrors, on the self-representation that participants give of themselves, for themselves, and in a second step addressing their community, the context in which they live.

Through the practices and codes of contemporary art and street art, we will come to cross the country with collective actions.

The boys and girls, the boys and girls, will take selfies in front of a mirror, choosing how to represent themselves in a positive and satisfying way, giving their own narrative of their self-representation, of their identity. 

Enclosed within a simple snapshot are the questions: Who am I? Who do I want to be? What do I want to say about me? What are the things that are important to me? What do I represent?

The images created are not intended for the social space, but for the space of one's own country. In this way, those who took the shot go from observing themselves to observing the outside world, observing those who pass by, and from the mirror the shot moves to the street "immortalising" other people.
